Hindi Diwas was celebrated on the September 14th. It celebrates in a remark of the adoption of the Hindi as one of the India’s official languages in the Devanagari script. Also, the Hindi was India’s official national Language.

The Constituent Assembly of India adopted Hindi as one of the Republic of India’s two official languages. In fact, to make this happen the lots of efforts taken by Beohar Rajendra Simha and Hazari Prasad Dwivedi, Kaka Kalelkar, Maithili Sharan Gupt, Seth Govind Das and Kaka Kalelkar.

Likewise, the efforts came to result on the 50th birthday of Beohar Rajendra Simha on September 14, 1949, after it adopted Hindi as an official language. It upheld the decision by the Indian Constitution. However, it was came into effect on January 26, 1950.

Incidents —

At a function in Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi, the former President of India, Pranab Mukherjee had conferred awards. In fact, the awards has announced in the various categories for excellence in various fields related to Hindi. The Ministries, Offices, PSUs, and Nationalized Banks were given Raj Bhasha Awards.

Many bank Challans only available in English and Hindi, even in rural areas of the India. In fact, most people know only one language their mother tongue. 7/8ths time it is not the Hindi.

Hindi is one of the Union government’s two official languages the other one is English. It is among the Republic of India’s 22 schedule languages. It is said that Hindi has been accepted as one of the two official languages due to the efforts of the Beohar Rajendra Simha, along with Hazari Prasad Dwivedi, Maithili Sharan Gupt Seth Govind Das, Kaka Kalelkar,.

In reality, it took place on the 50th birthday of Beohar Rajendra Simha, who casually marked the original final document of India’s Constitution.

Also, the Prime Minister of the Mauritius Seewoosagur Ramgoolam was the chief guest.
